Silver Jubilee Rocking Horse in Polished Mahogany

This gorgeous and magnficent horse has a wonderful depth of sheen, which can only be created by painstaking attention to detail in hand polishing this most lovely and traditional of woods. This horse would harmonise perfectly with traditional or antique furniture of the finest quality. The attention to detail in the carving speaks for itself.

The head is slightly turned (away from the camera), which adds to the lifelike appeal of this lovely horse. The head is also withdrawn in a playful and friendly 'on the bit' posture. This size of horse can also be made with the more upright head posture such as that shown in the previous picture. Likewise, a blaze on the forehead, made as an ash inlay, is also an option.
