Chester Rocking Horse in Sweet Chestnut

The gorgeous Chester rocking horse in sweet chestnut has a lovely light colouration which enhances the fine detail of the carving. The timber is specially selected to highlight the beautiful grain of this English wood. The premium saddler-made tack is usually favoured in dark havana (as shown) or conker and complimented by a numnah. Gold coloured swinger bars are another of many lovely touches.

Chester horses feature long, luxuriant manes, though the mane in the pictured horse has been swept over the neck in order to show the carving in greater detail. The close-up photo of the head illustrates the mane better.
