Our rocking horses have appeared in so many TV productions that we have not updated this page recently. Here is a selection of older appearances:

Period House Magazine - July 2006

The gorgeous Silver Jubilee Dapple Grey is highlighted in the feature "Girl's World - Create a magical space for your daughter to grow up with". As we know very well, a rocking horse is the dream of many girls of all ages, including many grown-up girls!

Antiques Diary - July/August 2006

Our horses take centre stage in an extensive article about rocking horse history and the story of the rocking horse, in which Jack Fowler interviews rocking horse collector Liz Miller. Our horses are identified as the finest contemporary rocking horses available and a detailed, illustrated article focuses on the Silver Jubilee rocking horses in particular.

Cornwall Today - November 2005

F.N. Gardner, whose rocking horses are crafted exclusively for us, is one of the leading exponents of the traditional craft of rocking horse making. His craft, his rural workshop in Cornwall and his beautiful rocking horses are highlighted in Cornwall Today's article. "There's something magical about a rocking horse and the appeal of these traditional toys somehow transcends the fashions of successive generations".

Period House Magazine - January 2005

Period House Magazine became the latest British monthly magazine to feature our rocking horses when the january 2005 edition included a rather splendid picture of one of our dapple grey horses on a bow rocker in an article entitled: Roll of The Dice - Take a trip down memory lane and re-discover the old favourite toys that have kept us entertained for hours on end.

National Newspapers, Hello Magazine and TV - November 2004

Kensington Rocking Horse Company was delighted to collaborate with leading chocolate maker, Thorntons, in the creation of a chocolate rocking horse to be ridden by top jockey, Frankie Dettori. Frankie took to the project with his customary enthusiasm and a London photo shoot gave rise to some terrific photos which showed him in full riding gear - silks, helmet and whip - astride the chocolate horse!

She Magazine - July 2004

The July 2004 edition of the UK's SHE MAGAZINE highlighted one of our hand-carved mahogany rocking horses (above left) as part of the NOW GET THE LOOK feature with the text: "Just a few well-chosen buys can have a serious impact, giving your home a wonderfully unique look".

"Sekai Ururun Taizaiki" - June 2004

The small children's rocking horse which has wooed Britain and the Continent to become "Europe's Favourite" won a host of new admirers in Japan after its June 2004 appearance on prime time Japanese TV. One of the main terrestrial channels, TBS (Tokyo Broadcasting Service), featured this super little rocking horse in its flagship Sunday evening programme "Sekai Ururun Taizaiki" (Home Stay in the World)", in which young Japanese people travel the world and report on the best products and culture they find.
