If you are or if someone you know is a rocking horse lover with limited space or a collector of dolls or teddy bears, our miniature rocking horses would be the perfect choice. Just like our full sized rocking horses, our miniature rocking horses in wood are hand made in England.

Our first wooden miniature is finished in natural shellac for a lovely surface sheen, which beautifully highlights the individual layers of birch. Lovingly fashioned by hand in birch wood and featuring real horsehair, this super little miniature rocking horse makes a lovely ornament by itself or enhances a display of a collection of bears or dolls.

The latest version of the horse has been updated from the picture below: It now sits on bow rockers made of ash, sports a miniature leather bridle and measures approximately 90cm (36 inches) in length, 49cm (20 inches) in height and 17cm (7 inches) in width.

One of Britain's most experienced rocking horses carvers has turned his hand to miniatures and created the beautiful replica antique miniature traditional rocking horses shown below.

Hand carved in mahogany and with a mildly 'distressed' finish to add authenticity and featuring leather saddle and bridle and horse hair, this is a lovely horse. The length of the stand is around 51 cm (20") and the height is around 41 cm (16").

The second miniature Victorian rocking horse has been painstakingly carved, tacked-up in leather and carefully distressed to create an authentic period appearance of the Victorian or Edwardian era. Another masterpiece!

Our friends in Southern Germany have made us the lovely little miniature rocking horse in pewter which is pictured below. It is hand painted to a wonderful standard, which is far superior to that found on the inferior miniatures from the Far East. It is also cleverly proportioned to rock gently on its elaborate bows. At only 7cm (2 1/4 inches) long, it is a sweet little horse which costs only £29 plus P&P.
